About Dolce Kerida
Following my adventures with La Casa Kerida in Cuba, it was during a trip to southern Europe that my Dolce Kerida project was born !
After a career in social work and various travels and encounters, I opened my first guest house in Cuba by renovating a pretty colonial house in Havana: Casa Kerida. Six incredible years where welcoming and meeting travelers from all over the world made me extremely happy.
The economic situation of this magnificent country made me change course. After wandering around southern Europe, Puglia seemed obvious to me! What a powerful, imposing, moving land !
The contrast of the white of the houses with the blue of the sky and the omnipresent sea, the fields of thousand-year-old olive trees, as far as the eye can see, the deep red earth and the unique architecture of the trulli bewitched me. Not to mention the simplicity, kindness and generosity of its inhabitants who reveal themselves daily in their hospitality, their cuisine, and their traditions to which they remain fiercely loyal.
